This new waterfront residence sits on a bluff in the Round Bay Community of Severna Park. An existing 1950’s deck style home originally occupied this lot. It was a single story home with a full walk-out basement and an attached carport. Variances were required to work within the critical area, to replace both the home and the carport due to their location to the steep adjacent slopes. This presented many challenges. We worked closely with the owners to develop this shingle style design and accommodate their large young family. The living spaces are open to each other to take advantage of the light, views and breezes.
